The Kinyo Group is taking a proactive approach in complying with REACH regulations and SVHC (substances of Very High Concern)

REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It came into force on June 1st 2007 and replaces a number of European directives and regulations with a single system.

REACH requires that we communicate with “downstream users” on our products and offer information that is relevant.

REACH has several aims

  • To provide a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the use of chemicals
  • To make people who place chemicals in the market responsible for understanding and managing the risks associated with their use.
  • To ensure free movement of the substances on the EU market
  • To enhance innovation and competitiveness into the EU chemicals industry
  • To promote the use of alternative methods for the assessment of the hazardous properties of substances.

REACH Kinyo compliance

Kinyo has been working with the various industry bodies to ensure that all our products are produced in compliance with REACH regulations.

No SVHC substances are used in the manufacture of any Kinyo products.
